IntelliDose Features

Professional Services — The quality of IntelliDose Professional Services are vital to the initial and long-term success of the system in the clinical setting.

IntelliDose is backed by a professional services team that has more experience in successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of oncology systems than its competitors combined. This dedicated group ensures smooth initiation, utilization, training, service, and long-term use of all product features through the following steps:

Workflow Assessment

The IntelliDose professional services team performs a workflow and process assessment to determine the best way to deploy the system. The requirements for all users — physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators — are carefully evaluated to ensure that IntelliDose conforms to a client’s specific needs. Team recommendations are made based on experience with similar practices.

System Optimization

IntelliDose contains a myriad of system preferences that enable the professional services team to customize the system to the specific needs of the individual practice, rather than forcing the practice to conform to the restrictions of the system. Based on the outcome of the initial workflow assessment, the team tailors IntelliDose to meet client requirements.

Content Customization

IntelliDose contains a considerable amount of content including drug information, treatment plans, dosing parameters, lab tests, nursing documentation, and reports. The professional services team customizes all of this content to the specific requirements of each physician using proprietary technology and proven techniques. The result is a system that conforms to the precise requirements of each practice before the first order is generated.

Training

The IntelliDose professional services team conducts two types of on-site user training. First, each user is provided with individualized training on the operation of IntelliDose. Then, the team provides experiential instruction and hands-on support in the clinical setting during the initial start-up period. This enables the oncology staff to establish a comfort and expertise with the operation of the system in their own practice environment. In addition to these system start-up activities, the professional services team is always available to provide ongoing training to existing clients, as necessary. For example, when IntelliDose offers new software features, clients benefit from training update sessions. Also, the professional services team is an excellent resource to train new client users who did not participate in initial training sessions.

Long-Term Relationship

As practices often change over time, the IntelliDose professional services team is available to re-evaluate systems and make necessary recommendations and updates. Workflow and system optimization assessments are available anytime to help clients meet new internal requirements. The professional services team establishes a long-term relationship with its customers and is available for ongoing consultation, one-time project guidance (for large or small initiatives), service requests, and a variety of training needs.
