How does the consulting team work with your practice?
Once you have contracted with our MIPS team, they will analyze your prior submissions and current year data to pinpoint potential opportunities for improvement.
As a part of the process, the team would request to connect to your practice through the QPP portal as a “Staff User.” By doing so, the consultants who collaborate with you have access to your previous submission data as well as the ability to report current year data. They can identify those course corrections in your workflow which may help to improve your performance, whether it’s through data collection, accurate coding or just choosing the most beneficial measures for your practice – they work with you hand in hand.
The team will provide regular monthly reports and workflow recommendations for your Eligible Clinicians (ECs) to help you decide the optimal reporting path.
In addition, the team will help to educate you on the constantly changing CMS requirements for the MIPS program.
What should my practice expect with our partnership?
The team provides ongoing communication with you through emails, calls, and virtual conference sessions. There are expectations from you as well – read the monthly e-mail, return documents as requested by your consultant and work to educate staff on workflow recommendations.
Your consultant manages the MIPS program all the way through to submission so that you can focus your efforts on patient care. The team also maintains a “Book of Evidence” for each Eligible Clinician in the event of an audit. If you need assistance with an audit, there is an optional audit service available.
